For a slower healing process herbs can be helpful. A herb returns +1 lifepoint immediately and gives +3 recovery points per action. The duration of a herb is 1 turn, so 2 actions in total. The healing only works on the first action, in the following action a character does not get any healing only recovery points. A herb can be used after combat, although the effect is minimal. Herbs can be very important as it can keep a character alive right after the fight.
